Cruzando el Canal, ¡en coche!

Feliz ecuador de semana, 

Cuando pongáis rumbo a la preciosa excursión en el lado Caribe para visitar el Fuerte de San Lorenzo o conocer Fort Sherman, tendréis la excelente ocasión de cruzar el Canal de Panamá.

Sí, habéis leído bien: CRUZAR EL CANAL EN COCHE. El Canal se cruza por una plataforma que hay junto a las esclusas, quedando a un lado las impresionantes puertas de las esclusas y al otro la vía acuática por la que pasan los barcos. 

Como curiosidad, estas puertas son altas, de unos 15 metros de alto, si bien es cierto que en Miraflores, por las mareas, las puertas son más altas. Cada puerta tiene dos hojas, que se cierran formando una V. 

No hay mejor descripción de la escena que viendolo en estas imágenes que hoy comparto con vosotros. Cruzar el Canal es una experiencia única en el mundo, espero que os guste.

When you go to the beautiful Caribbean side to visit the Fortress of San Lorenzo or Fort Sherman, you will have the excellent opportunity to cross the Panama Canal.

Yes, you read that right: CROSSING THE CANAL BY CAR. The Canal is crossed by a platform next to the locks, leaving aside the impressive gates of the locks and the other the waterway by passing ships.

Curiously, these doors are high, about 15 meters high, while it is true that in Miraflores, the tides, the gates are higher. Each door has two blades, which are closed to form a V.
