Veracruz

Feliz lunes,

Si buscas un lugar para almorzar cualquier día de la semana, para escaparte por unas horas y sin tener que irse lejos de la ciudad, puedes ir a Veracruz.  Mucha gente, tanto local como extranjero, acude a los varios restaurantes que sobre la orilla de la playa se encuentran ubicados. 

Veracruz tiene playa, pero no se recomienda el baño en estas aguas, pues queda muy cerca del área del Canal. No obstante, se puede pasear y disfrutar de una jornada de sol, playa y pescado frito. Hay varios locales con diversos tipos de comida y los vendedores ambulantes ofrecen ceviches, huevos de codorniz, artesanías e incluso huevos de tortuga. Pero cuidado! La ventas de huevos de tortuga es una actividad ilegal.

If you want somewhere for lunch any day of the week, to escape for a few hours without having to go far from the city, you can go to Veracruz. Many people, both local and foreign, go to the various restaurants on the edge of the beach are located.

Veracruz has a beach, but is not recommended bathing in these waters because it is very close to the Canal area. However, you can stroll and enjoy a day of sun, sand and fried fish. There are several different types of local food and street vendors offer ceviches, quail eggs, crafts and even turtle eggs. But be careful! The sale of turtle eggs is illegal.

With some pictures of a Sunday beach, I say goodbye for now but not before confirming that this week we will have more posts :)
