Whale watching in Contadora - Day 2

Hola a todos, 

Siguiendo con los detalles de la escapada a Contadora el pasado fin de semana, el segundo (y último, por ahora) día de observación de ballenas fue excelente, volvimos a tener suerte y seguimos de cerca a estos increíbles animales marinos.  

Los pescadores nos llevaron a verlas en sus barcas, en la playa de Punta Galeón podréis encontrarlos. Ellos son quienes mejor conocen el área recreativa predilecta para las jorobadas y por mi experiencia de dos días, mereció la pena alquilar los botes. 

Considero importante desde aquí hacer una nota sobre la protección de las ballenas y de la fauna marina en general. Por un lado, debemos conceder a estos cetáceos disfrutar de las aguas panameñas y no perseguirlas con los barcos de forma continua, se pueden ver desde una distancia prudencial sin molestar. Por otro lado, el hecho de que la caza de ballenas esté prohibida desde hace décadas ha permitido que actualmente se pueda salir al mar a observar ballenas, una experiencia y recomendación perfecta para cualquier fin de semana para estas próximas semanas.

Hello to everyone, 

Following the details of our escape to Contadora last weekend, the second (and last, right now) day of whale watching was excellent, we returned to be lucky and continued closed to these incredible marine animals. 

The fisherman carried us on their boats, in the beach of Punta Galeon you can find them. They are who know best the recreative area for the hump-backs and because of my two-days experience, rent a boat worths. 

I think that is important from here a note about the whales and marine fauna protection. On the one hand, we have to concede to these cetaceans enjoy Panamanian waters and not pursue them with the boats continuously, you can see them from a prudential distance without disturb them. On the other hand, the fact that the whale's hunting is forbidden decades ago has allowed that nowadays you can get into the see to watch them, an perfect experience and recommendation for any weekend for the next weeks.
