Recorriendo Isla San Andrés

Hola a todos,

Para un domingo en la isla, y después de varias jornadas de playa, optamos por cruzar el centro de San Andrés y dirigirnos colinas hacia arriba rumbo a la Laguna para posteriormente disfrutar de las mejores vistas del mar de los 7 colores desde el Mirador.

La Laguna, o Big Pound, es un hermoso lugar ubicado en el centro de la isla que acoge gran diversidad de flora y fauna. Esta laguna, de agua dulce, alberga unas 300 babosas (o pequeños cocodrilos) y tortugas, y alrededor del sendero que bordea la laguna se ven muchas aves, vacas e incluso, con un poco de suerte, se pueden ver iguanas por los árboles. Nosotros no tuvimos tanta suerte de ver iguanas, pero ya fue entretenido vigilar a los cocodrilos asomándose a la orilla. Y debo reconocer que me quedé impresionada de lo bien que posaban ante la cámara, como podéis observar en las siguientes fotos.

Después de dar la vuelta por la laguna, nos dirigimos por la loma hasta llegar al Mirador, un punto alto de la isla que permite disfrutar de una maravillosa vista del mar. Bonito, ¿verdad?

Hello to everyone, 

For a sunday on the island, and after several beach days, we decided to cross the center of San Andres and go hills up to La Laguna for enjoy later of the best sea sights of the 7 colors sea from the viewpoint. 

La Laguna, or Big Pound, is a nice place located in the center of the island that takes in huge variety of flora and fauna. This lake, of sweet water, keeps around 300 little crocodiles and turtles, and around the path that surrounds the lake you can see many birds, cows and even, with a bit of luckiness, you can see iguanas on the trees. We didn't have such a luckiness, but it was funny watch the crocos with its heads sticking out from under the lake. I have to recognize that I was really impressed with how they pose to the camera, as you can see on the next pics. 

After take a walk around the lake, we went by the hill until arrive at the viewpoint, a high point of the island that allows to enjoy a wonderful sightseeing of the sea. Beautiful, isn't it?
