Marta

Greetings to everyone from Panama,
Yesterday I started to tell our beautiful trip to the caribbean island of San Andrés, which despite having less than 27 square-kilometers, has many nice places. Due to its ecosystem, biodiversity and beautiful landscapes, the San Andres Archipelago was known as biosphere's reserve by UNESCO.
We rented a mule (here you have the magnificent driver Oscar) to drive the road that surrounds all the island's coast. We enjoyed the beautiful panorama and the variety of attractive through our travel from the western coast until arrive by the San Luis Coast to North End, the main town of the island, where is concentrated the trade, the airport, the administrative and official headquarters, banks, restaurants and the majority of the hotels.
One of the stops was to have lunch in the Lobster's Place Terraces... Guess what we order for eat... Obviously, a delicious lobster at the sea breeze listening the waves' murmur. After similar lunch, we continued the route in mule by the West View where are located the best dive's places of the island as La Piscinita, the aquarium perfectly preserved where you can see many multicolor fishes.
Arriving to the San Luis Coast, the eastern side, you can appreciate the typical architecture of the region because of the painted wood houses and has the most pure caribbean style, reggae music included. Furthermore, is a perfect place to practice aquatic sports related to the wind, as the kite because at this side of the coast is where the wind blows harder.
I strongly recommend you the island, I hope you like the pics. Have a nice weekend,
Marta
