Via Argentina

Hoy nos vamos a pasear por Panamá, os llevo conmigo a mi barrio y os presento su avenida principal: Via Argentina.

En el corazón de un bonito y céntrico barrio de Ciudad de Panamá llamado El Cangrejo, se encuentra Via Argentina, su principal arteria, siendo muy conocida en la ciudad por la cantidad de restaurantes de todas las nacionalidades que ofrece, un excelente lugar para ir de ruta gastronómica. 

La avenida principal de la que os hablo es además famosa por la vegetación que tiene: altas palmeras y cantidad de árboles de los que se escuchan los pájaros cantar. Entrando por Via España, uno de los pulmones de tránsito en la ciudad, nos encontramos con el monumento al ex-boxeador Roberto "Manos de piedra" Durán, y ya comenzamos a darnos cuenta de que estamos en una vía de mucho tránsito, viva y con movimiento, resguardada por una frondosa vegetación. 

A mitad camino llegamos al Parque Andrés Bello, el lugar idóneo para eventos culturales y del que os dejo unas cuentas fotos. Teniendo un bello parque por el que pasear, numerosos restaurantes, bares y pubs, tiendas, farmacias o bancos... Creo que me encuentro en la zona idónea para residir. Me gusta el ambiente, poder pasear por sus calles (siendo de los pocos lugares que permite andar porque cuenta con mayores tramos de acera que otros barrios de la ciudad), encontrarme con la gente y conversar o bajar a comer y encontrar infinita variedad de locales con buenos platos de comida local o internacional.

Monumento a Roberto "Manos de piedra" Durán

Today we go walking by Panama, I take you with me to my neighborhood and I show you the main avenue: Via Argentina.

In the heart of a nice and centrally situated neighborhood of Panama City called El Cangrejo, you can find Via Argentina, its main artery, being very known in the city because of the quantity of restaurants from many nationalities that offer, an excellent place to go for a gastronomic route. 

The main avenue which I talk you about is also famous for the vegetation that has: high palm-trees and quantity of trees from where you can listen the birds singing. Coming in from Via España, one of the transit lungs in the city, we find the monument to the ex-boxer Roberto "Manos de piedra" Durán, and we just start to realize that we're in a avenue with so much traffic, alive and with movement, protected by the lush vegetation.

In the half-way we arrive to the Andres Bello Park, the ideal place for cultural events and from which I leave some pics. Having a nice park where you can walk, many restaurants, bars and pubs, shops, drugstores or banks... I think that I'm in the perfect place to live. I like the friendly atmosphere, can walk by the streets (being of the few places allowed to walk in the street because it has more sidewalks than other neighborhoods in the city), meet people and talk or come to eat and find huge variety of locals with good plates of local and international food.
