La Cascada

Feliz viernes a todos, 

¿Qué planes tenéis para el fin de semana? En esta ocasión, vamos a disfrutar de una escapada al paraíso natural del río Chagres, concretamente, accedemos a uno de sus afluentes que tiene una impresionante  cascada. 

Los tramos superiores de este afluente panameño caen en cascada, formando torrentes que descienden hacia las tierras bajas y se remansan en los grandes meandros. 

Os habréis fijado que en comparación con el post anterior, en este tramo el río tiene un color verdoso casi turquesa que contrasta con el tono tierra del Chagres en su tramo principal.

Which plans do you have for the weekend? In this occasion, we are going to enjoy an escape to the natural paradise of the Chagres, specifically, we gained access to one of the tributaries that has an amazing waterfall. 

The top stretches of this Panamanian tributary fall in waterfall, forming torrents that descend to the lowest lands and form a pool on the big meanders.

As you can see comparing to the previous post, on this stretch the river has a greenish almost turquoise color that contrast with the earth tone of the Chagres on the main stretch.
