Puerto Escondido - Villa Romana

Hoy, amigos, os llevo a un bello rincón de la Península de Azuero. 

Ya sabéis que se ha convertido en uno de mis destinos favoritos, pero creo que con estas imágenes os acabaré de convencer (si aún teníais duda) de la belleza de esta región y entenderéis por qué en tan poco tiempo he ido en varias ocasiones. Y no se trata de un viaje corto, son cuatro horas y media desde Ciudad de Panamá. Pero merece la pena. 

Más concretamente, hoy conoceremos Puerto Escondido, ubicado a escasos kilómetros de Pedasí. Una zona a la que recomiendo acceder en todoterreno dado que la carretera perfectamente asfaltada llega hasta la Playa de los Destiladeros... Si se quiere seguir más adelante, mejor en 4x4, así podrá ir a Puerto Escondido, a admirar las magníficas residencias de la zona (como la del Príncipe de Liechtenstein), o al Hotel Boutique Villa Romana. En este último, estuve alojada y tuvimos una bonita estancia. La atención fue cálida y buena, cuentan con un delicioso menú y tuve la ocasión de probar el yoga. Así que fue una estancia muy completa. 

Lo mejor: sus espectaculares vistas, a las imágenes me remito.

Lo más divertido: cruzarnos con la iguana que aparece en la imagen y que echara a correr con sus patitas traseras.

Y lo más curioso: ver cientos de cangrejos ermitaños de paseo por la playa, me parecen muy graciosos estos cangrejos. Unos, incluso escogen conchas demasiado grandes y no pueden ni dar un paso adelante, je je je.

Hello, friends, I take you to a beautiful place in Azuero's Peninsula.

You know that this has become one of my favorite destinations, but I think that with these pics I'll end to convince you (if you still in doubt) about the beauty of this region and you'll understand why in such a few time I've been several occasions. And it isn't because the trip is short, it lengths four hours and a half from Panama City. But it deserves. 

To be more specific, today we will meet Puerto Escondido, located few kilometers from Pedasí. An area that I recommend to access by all-road because the perfectly asphalted road arrives until Destiladeros Beach... If you want to follow more ahead, better by 4x4, so you'll go to Puerto Escondido, to admire the magnificent houses by the area (as Liechtenstein Prince's house), or to the Boutique Hotel Villa Romana. On this last, I was accommodated and we enjoyed a nice stay. The attention was warm and good, they have a delicious menu and I had the occasion for practicing yoga. So, the stay was very complete. 

The best: their amazing sightseeings.

The most fun: crossing an iguana and see how it started running with its hindquarters. 

The most curious: see hundreds of hermit crabs walking on the beach, they seem really funny. Some of them, even choose too big shells and they can't give a step ahead, he he he.
