Teleférico de Gamboa

Esta semana comienza con el blog por todo lo alto, 

Y no sólo porque estrenamos página en Facebook, sino porque hoy vamos a dar un paseo sobre la copa de los árboles de la mano del teleférico de Gamboa Rainforest. 

Nos recogieron en el hotel Gamboa Rainforest Resort en un camión muy ingenioso para sumergirnos en la naturaleza. Así llegamos al Parque Interpretativo y tomamos el teleférico, que cuenta con 18 vagones que alcanzan una altura de 112 metros. El teleférico lleva en funcionamiento varios años, y se construyó respetando el paraje y los árboles, siendo cuidadosamente estudiada la mejor forma de convivencia con la naturaleza. 

Fuimos acompañados por un guía que nos explicaba la flora y la fauna a lo largo del recorrido de algo más de 500 metros. A medida que ascendíamos, hasta la cima de un cerro, comenzamos a disfrutar de fabulosas vistas del río Chagres y de la comunidad indígena Emberá. Y fue, sin duda, una excursión que mereció la pena. Es una excelente alternativa para admirar y aprender de esta región de bosque tropical.

This week the blog begins in a big way, 

And not only because we open Facebook page, but because today we are taking a walk on the top of the trees thanks to the cable railway of Gamboa Rainforest. 

They picked us up in the hotel in a truck very ingenious to submerge us in the nature. Therefore we arrived to the Interpretative Park and we took a cable railway, which has 18 wagons that catch a height of 112 meters. The cable railway has functioning several years, and it was built respecting the spot and the trees, being carefully studied the best way of coexistence with nature. 

We were accompanied by a guide who explain us the flora and the fauna along the route of more than 500 meters. As we ascend, until the top of a hill, we start to enjoy wonderful sightseeings of the Chagres and the native community of the Embera. And it was, without a doubt, a trip that deserved. Is an excellent alternative to admire and learn from this region of tropical forest.
