De cara al fin de semana, y aprovechando que estoy hablando de nuestro viaje a Guatemala, aprovecho para que puedan conocer el hotel boutique donde estuvimos alojados. Antigua es una ciudad que nos gustó mucho, linda de admirar, comenzando por su privilegiada ubicación, bajo la mirada de tres volcanes. Siendo a la vez duradera y frágil, antigua y nueva, con mezclas de cultura indígena y reminiscencias coloniales.
El Convento Boutique Hotel es un lugar precioso, tranquilo, con aire romántico, que te lleva sin darte cuenta a la época colonial. Situado en una de las famosas calles empedradas de Antigua, frente al legendario Convento Capuchinas del Siglo XVIII, la fachada de piedra del Convento alberga un santuario interior de lujo, una mezcla de decoración tanto Guatemalteca y colonial.
Sin duda fue un acierto alojarnos allí, disfrutamos de la estancia, la comodidad de las habitaciones y del entorno inigualable. Buen plan para el fin de semana, verdad? :)

Looking to the weekend, and while I'm talking about our trip to Guatemala, I take for them to know the boutique hotel where we were staying. Antigua is a city that we liked, nice to admire, beginning with its privileged location, under the gaze of three volcanoes. Being both durable and fragile, old and new, with mixtures of indigenous culture and colonial reminiscences.
El Convento Boutique Hotel is a beautiful, quiet, romantic air, which gets you without realizing the colonial era. Located in one of the famous cobbled streets of Antigua, opposite to famous eighteenth century Capuchin convent, the Convento stone facade features a luxurious inner sanctum, a mixture of both Guatemalan and colonial décor.
It was certainly a success staying there, enjoyed the stay, the comfortable rooms and unique environment. Good plan for the weekend, right? :)
