Como propuesta para el fin de semana, os invito a pasar un fin de semana rodeados de la impresionante vegetación del Parque Nacional de Portobelo. Esta zona me fascina, ya os la he mostrado en varios posts, pero lo cierto es que alberga tanto encanto que permite hablar de muchos rincones especiales.
Si Portobelo era un antiguo enclave del comercio internacional durante la colonia española, ahora es un tradicional destino turístico de playa que, además, ofrece toda una aventura en medio de los bosques del Parque. Si tomas la carretera que bordea el Mar Caribe, queda al otro lado una cordillera de frondosos bosques y praderas que bajan casi hasta la línea del mar.

Hoy, previo a introducirnos en el Parque, haremos una visita a la orilla del mar. De esta forma, os propongo/muestro un restaurante encantador donde degustar deliciosos platos de gastronomía local. Se trata de Los Cañones, un restaurante al aire libre con cubierta de paja, especializado en pescado y marisco.

As a proposal for the weekend, I invite you to stay a weekend surrounded by the incredible vegetation of the National Park of Portobelo. I love this area, I know that I've showed you in several posts, but the truth is that shelters so charm that allows talking about many special places.
Today, previous to introduce in the Park, we're going to visit the sea's shore. Like this, I propose/show you a charming restaurant where taste delicious plates of local gastronomy. I am talking about Los Cañones, an outdoor restaurant with straw cover, specializing in fish and seafood. The speciality of the house is the octopus in coconut's milk.

If Portobelo was an ancient enclave for the international trade during the spanish colony, now is a traditional beach tourism destination that, also, offers an adventure in the middle of the forests of the Park. If you take the road that goes around the Caribbean Sea, remains on the other side a range of lush vegetation that arrives almost to the sea's line.
